His professional background in people management, community engagement, education, financial services, and business and life coaching allows him to see the world from a unique lens which lends to his ability to connect easily with people at all levels. Alric is a multi-lingual professional (apart from his native English, he also speaks Spanish and French), who operates from a whole-person perspective. He believes that everyone is created equal and that given the opportunity of learning, everyone can flourish and change.

Alric's experience in advocacy and consultancy spans over 20 years and began early in his youthful years as he worked tirelessly with the Chill City Community Club in his home community of Bottom Pen to improve the conditions for marginalized and misrepresented youth. After the youth club went dormant for a number of years, he was moved to re-assess the needs of the community and resurrect the community-based organization in order to fully serve its constituents. In so doing he created a trail of successful initiatives including starting and organizing grassroots programs, homework initiatives and partnering with government and multi-lateral organizations (CSJP and USAID) to dismantle the much despised zinc fences in the community and replacing them with concrete walls.

Alric's work in the EDI sphere has continued in Canada where he has served in numerous roles including leading the Regina Chapter of the CIBC Black Employee Network which seeks to to conduct qualitative research and needs assessment related to the company’s culture and the intersecting identities affecting the performance and satisfaction of staff, among other KPIs; and serving as a member of the board for the Newmarket African Caribbean Canadian Association, being an integral part of the team that successfully lauched the association's own headquarters .

Alric's experience spans many roles, having served as policy compliance consultant, employee satisfaction consultant and professional development consultant. His most rewarding experiences however, have always been those roles that involve community involvement and integration; a passion that continues to burn within him as he works assiduously to create curricula and programs to help communities to grow, heal and expand their horizons.
